This Form E divorce example is filled in for a made-up person, with every total worked out. Net assets come to £234,085, and each figure below shows where it goes on the form, from the family home (2.1) to the summaries (2.20 and 2.21) and income needs (3.1).

Checked against Form E 01.23 on 28 September 2026. By Jo Kendall, Divorce Desk. Organising information, not legal advice.

This is a made-up case to show what a finished Form E looks like and how the totals flow. It isn't a model answer. Your own answers depend on your circumstances, and sections 4 and 5 are yours to write.
